Buildings

We work closely with you from the plans’ conception (your own plans can be adapted easily) and follow the evolution of the project right up to completion, taking care along the way to meet all of your needs, and to maintain our highest quality standards. All the frame materials are precisely planned and pre-cut, coded and numbered, and are delivered on site with an assembly plan for easy construction.

The erection of the kit is done very rapidly – in fact, a timber frame of average dimensions can be assembled in one day. The beams and posts are planned and cut with precision, and are mortised, coded and numbered in order to simplify the assembly, just like a mecano set (see video montage).

We supply the timber-frame kit along with the expertise, supervising the erection of the frame and the wall panels to make sure that everything fits well together. A carpenter of your choice can then complete the work on your house, as everything else follows conventional construction methods. We can also complete the construction, as well as supplying a variety of additional construction materials to finish your home.
The wide variety of exterior coverings (pre-stained wood, brick, stone, straw bales) allows you to choose materials that match your tastes while respecting the environment surrounding your home.

The design possibilities associated with traditional timber frame construction are endless. We offer a wide variety of single- to multi-story models that will suit any setting, from urban to rural. And we design with high-quality materials, including insulation that meets the rigid Novoclimat criteria. In fact, our timber frame homes are virtually hermetically sealed thanks to the insulation panels we use in construction. Not to mention the fact that the extremely solid structure of a timber frame home is perfectly suited to the use of environmentally friendly, straw-bale exteriors.

timber frame pavilionPavilions

Looking to create a truly peaceful oasis in a natural environment? There’s nothing quite like a pavilion built in a classic design to give your haven a feeling of serene permanence. Choose from several time-honoured proportions, like a hexagon, octagon or golden rectangle, and you’ll enjoy the unique aesthetics created by the natural combinations of posts and beams, held fast by the ancient art of perfectly fitted wooden pegs.

Such an inspiring structure may well turn into a personal sanctuary, encouraging contemplation, even meditation, as it integrates perfectly with the living environment created by the designer. Browse several other inspiring examples in our photo gallery.
